FAQ

Questions creators ask.

Does Flock take a cut of my sales?

No. Flock charges no transaction fee. Stripe's standard processing fees apply on your own Stripe account.

Where does the money go?

Straight to your Stripe account. Flock uses Stripe Connect direct charges, so you are the merchant and Flock never holds your funds.

Do my members need an account?

They sign in with Telegram, the same way you do. That's how Flock knows which Telegram account to let in.

Can people pay inside Telegram?

No. Members pay on Stripe Checkout on the web. The bot only handles invites, status and support.

What happens if a renewal fails?

Stripe retries the card. Members keep access for a 48-hour grace period, then the bot removes them if the payment doesn't recover. They can renew any time to rejoin.

Channels or groups?

Both: private channels and private groups. The bot needs permission to invite users and ban users, and Flock checks this when you connect.

Which countries can I sell from?

You need a Stripe account in a country where Stripe supports connected accounts. Stripe confirms eligibility during setup.

Is Flock part of Telegram?

No. Flock is an independent service that uses Telegram's official Bot API. It is not affiliated with Telegram.
